Our clubs and publications have also been noted for their excellence. Both the Academy News, our student run newspaper, and the Elchanite, our senior class yearbook, have received accolades from The American Scholastic Press Association. Scope, our stylish magazine of technology and culture, has repeatedly been awarded first place in the American Scholastic Press Competition.
There are also a large number of other awards received by our students both individually and as representatives of our school. In recent years, students have received awards and scholarships from a number of colleges and have taken part in both state-wide and yeshiva-wide contests, such as the Shakespeare Competition, the New York Stock Market Game, and the American Mathematics Competition. Our clubs participate in chess competitions, a College Bowl league and other inter-school activities, and our high school is a member of the National Honor Society (Arista) as the Tehilla Chapter.
